I am a licensed psychologist in Dallas, Texas. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center-Dallas in 1993 and went on for further post doctoral training at Timberlawn Hospital in Dallas in the treatment of children, adolescents and their families.

My training equips me to work with children, adolescents and adults suffering from anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral difficulties, emotional trauma, ADHD, high functioning neuro- atypical- developmental disorders, eating disorders, identity crises, relationship difficulties, and stress management.

I immensely enjoy working with individuals during life transitions helping them to solidify their identity, develop healthy coping mechanisms, launch effectively, and constructively separate and individuate from their families of origin. Moreover, I help individuals through marital challenges, separations, divorces, remarriages, and blending of families. I assist individuals of all ages, identify and change maladaptive thought and behavior patterns, and generate desired outcomes that are realistic and attainable.

I am trained to think and formulate analytically, but I also utilize interpersonal and cognitive- behavioral techniques to help those with chronic mental illnesses identify their maladaptive thoughts and interpretations, behaviors and desired outcomes to help them regain control of their emotional lives and relationships.
